The 2019 Season is almost here....



This year we have increased support and new Committee Members who are all extremely eager to make the Southern Bay Cyclones Rugby club the best it can be.  The AGM saw a number of fresh faces take up the elected positions:

We would also like to bid a fond farewell and wish all the best for the future to our outgoing Committee Members, Toka Hohepa, Danielle Hohepa and Corey Berka who held the roles of Treasurer, Registrar and Vice President  respectively.

This year we are encouraging players, parents and supporters to REGISTER ONLINE through the ARU RugbyLink Scheme. Sign on MUST be completed before training starts on 18th February for ARU Insurance purposes. 

All previous Members should have received an email with login and registration details. If you didn't please email our Registrar,  


How do I register Online?

REGISTER A JUNIOR PLAYER  – Any child participating in the U6’s – U17’s.    

REGISTER A PARENT/VOLUNTEER  - Every parent, team official, volunteer, medic, needs to register as an individual online (NO CHARGE for the first Parent/Guardian). This provides you with insurance coverage and is an ARU requirement.    

REGISTER A SENIOR PLAYER  – Any player playing in the senior competition. 

REGISTER A SENIOR VOLUNTEER/LIFE MEMBER/CLUB MEMBER  - Any senior team official, volunteer, medic, life member, and golden oldie needs to register as an individual online (NO CHARGE). This provides you with insurance coverage and is an ARU requirement.

How do I Pay My Registration Fees?     

Work through the relevant Online Registration Form and it will ask you to choose online or offline payment.

When you choose offline, you still need to submit the form.  An email will be sent to both you and the club recognising your registration without payment.  

Payment will then need made to the Club via: Cash, Eftpos, or internet transfer on    If using Government Vouchers, please bring these to the club so that the details may be recorded and processed.

Volunteer Scheme (Compulsory Fee for all Members incl Seniors): $30.00 per family. Redeemable on Club Volunteer Duties carried out.

Interested in the Get Started Grant?

Get Started is one of three funding programs that comprise the Queensland Government's Get in the Game initiative to support grassroots sport and recreation.

Get Started assists children and young people who can least afford or may otherwise benefit from joining a sport or recreation club.

To all Members, we need your help to run this great club. Without members helping it will make it extremely difficult to run the club for the next season. It simply cannot be done by 9 people. 











It's that time of the year again. Sign on dates are Saturday 9th February, @ the Cyclones Clubhouse, Charlie Buckler Oval, Boundary St, Redland Bay.
